Peer Review Process

Journal of HumanArts applies a double-blind peer review process, meaning that both the reviewer and author identities are concealed from each other throughout the review process.

  • Initial Evaluation: Every submitted manuscript is first reviewed by the Editor-in-Chief for initial formatting, scope alignment, and plagiarism screening.

  • External Review: If eligible, the manuscript is sent to at least two independent expert reviewers in the field.

  • Final Decision: The final editorial decision (Accept, Revision, or Reject) is made by the Editorial Board based on the reviewers' recommendations. The average time from submission to first decision is 4–6 weeks.
