Journal of HumanArts

Journal of HumanArts publishes one volume per year, consisting of three issues. It is an international, transdisciplinary, peer-reviewed journal that serves as a platform for addressing and discussing both theoretical and practical issues and solutions in the humanities and social sciences.

Topics covered by the journal include: Computer and AI applications in human science, Computer and AI applications in management science, Arts and Humanities, Fine Arts, Media Studies, Theatre and Performing Studies, Languages and Linguistics, Sociology and Behavioural Sciences, Education, Law, Criminology, Political Science, History, Geography, Rural and Urban Studies, Architecture, Business and Management, Economics, Psychology Science, and Physical Education and Sports Sciences.

Publication Charges: All articles published in HumanArts are open-access and freely available online. The article processing charge is 200 USD per article; however, this charge will be applied starting April 1, 2027. A special 50% discount is granted to authors from low-income countries.

Publication Ethics and Publication Malpractice Statement: The Journal of HumanArts follows the guidelines and standards developed by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

Responsibilities of the Editor and Editorial Board: The editorial team is responsible for deciding which manuscripts should be published in accordance with journal policies and legal requirements concerning libel, copyright infringement, and plagiarism; ensuring an unbiased single-blind peer review process and confidentiality of information; selecting suitable reviewers based on expertise; maintaining a reviewer database; evaluating manuscripts solely on academic merit; publishing corrections, clarifications, retractions, or apologies where necessary; protecting unpublished material; and taking appropriate action in cases of suspected misconduct according to COPE flowcharts.

Responsibilities of Guest Editors: Guest editors should provide clear guidance to authors regarding the topic and boundaries of contributions, define the role of each article in a thematic issue, collaborate with the editorial board in selecting appropriate reviewers, and ensure that the agreed timeline for submission, review, revision, and final acceptance is followed.

Responsibilities of Authors: Authors are expected to present original work accurately and objectively, avoid simultaneous submission to more than one journal, properly acknowledge all sources, avoid plagiarism in all forms, ensure the manuscript has not been published elsewhere, notify the editor of significant errors if discovered, limit authorship to those who made substantial contributions, ensure co-authors approve the final version, and disclose any financial or other conflicts of interest.

Responsibilities of Reviewers: Reviewers should notify the editor if they are unqualified or unable to review in a timely manner, treat manuscripts as confidential documents, avoid using privileged information for personal advantage, report any suspected plagiarism or copyright infringement, provide objective and constructive reviews, and decline to review manuscripts where conflicts of interest exist.

Responsibilities of the Publisher: The publisher provides practical support to the editor and editorial board, safeguards editorial independence, protects intellectual property and copyright, and ensures that publishing practices meet recognized ethical standards.

Open Access Policy: HumanArts is published under the CC BY 4.0 license. This license allows users to share and adapt the work, including for commercial purposes, provided appropriate credit is given to the original source. Authors retain the copyright of their work and grant HumanArts the right of first publication and a non-exclusive license to distribute the work under this license.

Reader Permissions: Readers are free to share, copy, redistribute, remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, including commercial use, provided attribution is given, a link to the license is included, and no additional legal or technical restrictions are applied.

Archiving and Repository Policy: HumanArts fully supports long-term archiving and allows authors to deposit all versions of their articles, including preprints, accepted manuscripts, and the final published version, in institutional or other repositories without embargo. This policy enhances accessibility, preservation, and scholarly visibility.
