The aim of this research was to measure the accuracy of motor response to a visual stimulus among épée fencing players with special needs, using a proposed device. To achieve this aim, the researcher adopted the descriptive method using a survey approach on a sample of 40 players from categories A and B, aged between 19 and 22 years. After conducting a pilot study, the test was applied to the main sample of 30 players at the training centre of the Paralympic Committee. The researcher concluded that the research sample demonstrated an overall performance level that can be described as acceptable in terms of motor response accuracy, with a clear variation in performance levels among the players. A group of players with average and weak performance was identified, indicating the need for special attention.
